Every one of our appraiser is on the FHA Roster of approved Certified Residential Appraisers. We're qualified and approved to do appraisals for FHA insured loans. We're trained and understand the rules and procedures in FHA's guidance and policy documents.

Here is some helpful information regarding FHA/HUD Minimum Housing Standards:
1. All Utilities must be operating at the time of inspection and be de-winterized. Otherwise, we are obligated to call for a re-inspection by HUD.
2. Any dwelling built prior to 1978 must be free of peeling paint. This includes the interior, exterior, and any other garages or buildings on the property. FHA/HUD will require us to call for a re-inspection to ensure that all peeling paint has been scraped.
3. FHA/HUD requires minimum distances for the following: between private well & septic tank; well & drainfield; well and property lines. FHA/HUD also requires connection to a public water source if one is available on the street.
